“Now We’re Cooking”
The NAMI Arizona Board of Directors invites you to attend and participate in our 2015 Annual Meeting and Celebration scheduled for Saturday January 31st, 2015 at the Disability Empowerment Center 5025 E. Washington St. Phoenix, AZ 85034 from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
This coming year’s event themed, “Now We’re Cooking,” is designed to celebrate the powerful relationships solidified by NAMI Arizona and community partners during recent years. We hope that this year’s event will both recognize past accomplishments as well as serve as a springboard for NAMI AZ and its affiliates to achieve even greater impact in Arizona in the future.
We value the community’s early and strong support of NAMI Arizona which has helped us to strengthen our impact at both the State and Affiliate level. For example, we have forged relationships with key leadership in all three branches of Arizona State government, police, fire, prosecutors, judges, crisis providers, individuals, families, and communities from across the State to advocate for persons and families confronting mental illness. Though this advocacy we hope to address the gaps in care contributing to the unfortunate and ever evolving cycle of mental illness, homelessness, incarceration, imprisonment, emergency room, and access to care.
Thank you for all you do for those we serve and for your unwavering support!
We look forward to joining you at our 2015 Annual Meeting and Celebration January 31st and continuing our collaborative partnering throughout the year.
Sincerely,
Jim Dunn, M.Ed./C, CPRP
