NAMI Arizona 2021 Annual Meeting

“It’s Time to Rise Up”

The NAMI Arizona Board of Directors invites you to join us in our 2021 Annual Meeting, “It’s Time to Rise Up” scheduled for Saturday January 23rd, 2021 from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM via ZOOM [thanks to the Arizona Peer and Family Coalition (APFC)]. Please register for this no fee event at the following link for access details: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/nami-arizona-2021-annual-meeting-tickets-130500742233?aff=ebdssbeac

For the past seven years, NAMI Arizona has been privileged to partner with AHCCCS Building Partnerships to develop, connect, and engage individual, family and community leaders across the State to numerous powerful opportunities that ensure their community’s concerns are heard at the right tables.

We are determined to focus our current efforts on empowering and amplifying community voices in our more remote, diverse, and disparate locations to help leadership, participants, and available resources converge “where the rubber meets the road” ensuring the jobs, opportunities and infrastructure are in place to support that collaborative community’s values, viability, and sustainability.

In the spirit of 2021’s Conference theme, “It’s Time to Rise Up” we ask equally determined leaders to please not wait for a personal invitation; but to “Rise Up” and contact us directly with your plan to join us. Your unique skillset is much needed to identify and strategize how we wish to work together to address all our communities’ myriad needs.

By connecting Individual, Family, and Community Leaders like yourself and ensuring appropriate representation from every sector of our State, we will have the Right Voices at the Right Tables to at least impact positive change in the worlds we choose to live in. We are conducting this meeting in a virtual format only to reduce anxiety, assure public safety, and include the widest possible participation.

To further demonstrate our steadfast love, respect, and appreciation for the incredible work our NAMI Arizona Affiliates do each day, NAMI Arizona is committing up to 25% (after expenses) of this year’s Annual Meeting Sponsorship revenue to address needs identified by our 11 officially sanctioned NAMI Affiliates (NAMI Havasu, NAMI Flagstaff, NAMI Sedona, NAMI Yavapai County, NAMI White Mountains, NAMI Payson, NAMI Valley of the Sun, NAMI Pinal Central, NAMI Southern Arizona, NAMI Southeastern Arizona, and NAMI Yuma) to help strengthen their infrastructure and grow their community impact. (Affiliates will be given a simplified process to request up to $1K each per annum from the Annual Meeting sponsorship fund hopefully as a last resort upon exhausting alternative options and sources.)

Please consider one of the Sponsorship opportunities included herein, and thank you for all you do for those we serve!

Thanks, Jim
