Support Groups

Maricopa County Family Support Groups

are free monthly meeting of caregivers of individuals with a mental illness where family members can talk frankly about their challenges and help one another through their learned wisdom. These meetings are facilitated by trained NAMI members in affiliates across Arizona. Participants are encouraged to share actively in the work of the group.

Statewide Family Support Groups

Statewide Family Support Groups (outside Maricopa County) are free monthly meeting of caregivers of individuals with a mental illness where family members can talk frankly about their challenges and help one another through their learned wisdom. These meetings are facilitated by trained NAMI members in affiliates across Arizona. Participants are encouraged to share actively in the work of the group.

Peer Support Groups (Connection Groups)

NAMI Peer Support Groups are facilitated by trained NAMI members and participants are encouraged to share actively in the work of the group. They are weekly or monthly support groups for individuals with a mental illness.
